plus organizational, interpersonal communication and other
necessary office skills for the healthcare industry.
 In
today’s modern electronic
office, a background in microcomputers is necessary for being
successful in the accounting field. The dual option is designed
to give the students the necessary tools to be successful in
this environment. The latest software packages are used as well
as business-oriented accounting principles.
Students will use IBM compatible
computers and systems for all microcomputer applications. The
Business Administration part of the program is designed to allow
for acquiring a broad background in the management area.

Newport Business Institute may award two scholarships valued
at up to one-half of the total tuition cost. Recipients must
be high school seniors, and the scholarship is based on academic
excellence and good moral character. Deadline is February 28.

valued at up to one-third of the total tuition cost. These scholarships
are awarded to students who have been out of high school for
at least one year. Deadline is three weeks prior to the start

Newport Business Institute may award three merit scholarships
a year valued at up to one-third of the total tuition cost. The
scholarships are awarded to current high school seniors. Deadline

Newport Business Institute may award two scholarships a year
valued at total tuition, fees, books, and supplies (less any
grant aid) until the recipient graduates. The scholarship is
open to all Oakmont Country Club Caddies. Deadline is March 15.
